Did you know that December 4th is National Cookie Day?!  Here at Cape Whoopies, we're celebrating our close cousin dessert by indulging in a delicious Bromance whoopie pie.  Featuring chocolate chip cakes that are just as good as Mom's freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and vanilla cream filling, the Bromance is unsurprisingly one of our top-selling flavors. You'd have to ask our head whoopette to be sure, but we're pretty positive this decadent flavor combination was inspired by a warm chocolate chip cookie dipped in milk.  Yum! After tasting our sweet treats, we know that our customers and fans may often wonder what it's like behind the scenes at a whoopie pie company.  So we’d like to give you a little insight into what happens in a regular business day at Cape Whoopies.  The morning begins as head whoopette and Cape Whoopies’ owner, Marcia, arrives at the industrial kitchen and takes a quick survey of the sparkling clean space, reviewing each of the priorities for the day and deciding where each work station will need to be.  Her team of whoopettes (with the occasional whoopie dude) are next...

We'll be at the New England Made Trade Show in Portland, Maine, this weekend from Saturday through Monday 3/19-3/21 at the Portland Sports complex, 512 Warren Avenue, Portland, Maine   If you are a shop, restaurant, cafe, coffee shop, natural food or grocery store, come visit us at booth #625!  We'll have samples and we'll be ready to set you up for regular deliveries of Cape Whoopies!  Come see us!  

We've had a giant week with three big events, and we just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone along the way.  First we joined the Substitutes for a battle of the bands.  The Subs are a hip vintage rock and roll band that is making its way to a huge following by playing great songs from the 60's and 70's.  They had decided that if they won the final round of the battle of the bands at Bentley's in Arundel, Maine, they wanted "Whoopie Time" which is a crazy yummy and fun time of tossing whoopie pies out...

Every year when the leaves start to turn color and the temps start to drop, our fancy turns to richer foods...it means its autumn and you know what that means, its time for Harvest on the Harbor!  HOTH is the big foodie event in Portland, Maine where all the top chefs pull out all their best ideas and add that to the most amazing fresh ingredients and it makes for a week of full on deliciousness.  People come from all over the world to witness this much yum in one place!  If you want more information on the whole affair...
