Maine is well known for its production of maple syrup, so we had to give a nod to the sweet deliciousness of maple forests in our beloved headquarter state.
These whoopie pies give us weekend vibes and memories of breakfast in bed, and of our great grandfather's farm in central Maine, where maple trees were tapped regularly for syrup which was then sold in nearby farmers' markets.
