Here is a flavor combination that reminds me of lazy walks through Rome, finding my way to the Spanish Steps and just enjoying the sites of people passing and little cafes with tables in the sun. I am reminded of the meals that were always followed by Limoncello to top off a perfect moment. Well, this flavor will bring you right back to those moments. It’s a buttery vanilla cake where we have slathered one side with exquisite seedless raspberry jam and finished with our Limoncello cream filling. The vanilla cake sits idly by as the perfect counterpoint to all the swirling flavors of raspberry, which is then topped off with the most perfect finale, the Limoncello.

The Limoncello cream filling is magnificent! It’s a full compliment of Limoncello, that unmistakable, intensely lemony libation that is pure Italy. It’s the ending to a perfect day. This is a flavor to remember.

Here are the ingredients:

Vanilla cake ingredients:  sugar, cage free eggs, butter (cream and salt), flour (unbleached hard wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), cream cheese culture, whey protein concentrate, salt, guar gum, carob bean gum), baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch and monocalcium phosphate), vanilla, salt.  Raspberry jam ingredients: juice concentrate (pear, grape), raspberries, maltodextrin, fruit pectin, citric acid.  Limoncello filling ingredients:  sugar, water, butter (cream and salt) cage free egg whites, Limoncello, lemon juice, modified corn starch, tapioca flour, lemon zest.
